Steve walks on water!

We made it to Wolfe Island, Ontario -from FL! This is the largest of the 1000 islands and part & parcel of my husband Steve's family history. His grandmother was born here and his extended family still visits in the summer. We have already met up with some of his cousins after we arrived this afternoon. :0)

The photo shows Steve venturing out on the Big House dock. It is not usually covered with water like this! Because there has been so much rain, Lake Ontario and local rivers have flooded, spilling into the St Lawrence. The water level is slowly going down, but it is not back to normal yet. None the less, this is still a beautiful island. I hope to share more photos with you as the week progresses. Sending love!
