Decrepit Cycle Lane
These whitewashed old buildings very rarely get the sun, as there's tall buildings on the opposite side of the road. Yet, I have to walk past them almost very day, on the way into Salisbury centre.
With a rare little traffic I stepped out into the road and with Sigma 20mm f1.8 on full-frame Nikon D700 and grabbed a shot. A cyclist whizzing past, blurred would have helped, but we cannot have everything!
Since then, the RAW file has been in Photoshop 'Transform', as it wasn't taken square-on and various layers for removal of colour in some areas and mega-heightened contrast, plus some un-sharp mask to crisp it up, followed by shadow retrieval on only the windows...After all that, I just HAD to make it my blip for today!
