Late posting tonight so will have to catch up tomorrow.

With all the cold weather we've had we sprung an enormous leak in the back garden from the same tap which froze last year today I am talking fountain. The best of it is that although the tap is in our garden it is connected to next door's water supply. We put a note through their door to ask them to turn the water off. Mike has tried to repair tonight but not too sucessfull. It will have to do till the weekend.

Called to see my mate Carol, the one I went to Jersey with to give her a birthday present as I won't get chance to see her on Saturday, her new place is lovely and not so damp as her flat. After that I went to college first night back, bit of a waste of time to be honest. A Polish lad on the course is more help than the tutor. Hey ho.

Mum has had the blood transfusions now but has had a fall trying to get out of bed and reaching for her zimmer, luckily nothing broken but some nasty bruising, also got a DVT which is being treated. Dad on the mend and a lot more upbeat which is good.

My weekend starts now, can't believe how quickly this week has gone.
