Dizzy bird

Youngest's birthday today.

One of his gifts was this 'Original Flying Bird'. Flies 50m flapping its wings it says on the box. Strictly speaking this is correct, although the 50m is round and round in a circle.

I much prefer it to the two Wii games he was given that will ensure he sees nothing of today's beautiful weather. I can hardly ban him from playing his new games on his birthday as much as I'd like to.

I also prefer it to the remote control tarantula. Who thinks of these things? It's vile which obviously means youngest adores it. I predict it will only be a matter of days before I run screaming from my bed to the sound of hysterical laughter. The joys!
