Winter Rose

...or Hellebore, gorgeous things at this time of the year.  They have this lovely habit of hanging their head, making them difficult to photograph.

OldTimer and I have spent 6 hours doing the club's competition entries today - we always think we will get it done more quickly, but it doesn't work like that.  Prints and digital this time and going to two different judges, one in the South Island the other in the North Island.

The sun shone today, which was nice, but cold and frosty this evening.
