Not quite such a stifling day we managed to walk about in Athens a bit before catching the bus which crosses the bridge to Evvia and then crosses the mountains to Mantoudi. Then the ferry back to Glossa. I have never taken this route before and it made a very interesting change to see Evvia up close and personal for the first time.
