Resting Silvereye
This sort of shot is the reason why I keep my camera and long lens on my desk when I'm working. Living surrounded by trees there's always plenty of birds around, so when I saw this little silvereye (Zosterops lateralis) resting on the hebe outside my study window I grabbed the camera and rattle off a few shots.
There was also a grey warbler bobbling around, but she was moving a little bit too quickly to capture. Next time!
