Chester Former Players Golf Day

It was the annual Chester Former Players golf day at Padeswood and Buckley today and although I don't play the game (and I'm not a former player) I went along as a committee member to take photos. Fortunately a newspaper photographer came along so I wasn't needed and just took a handful of pictures.

The picture here shows from left to right: 

Charlie Lambert - a fellow committee member and former BBC sports reporter
Graham Birks - a full back who also played for Sheffield Wednesday, Southend United and Peterborough United
Ian Edwards - a striker who also played for West Bromwich Albion, Wrexham and Crystal Palace. As a Chester player he scored four goals for Wales in an international against Malta which remains a Welsh record.
Bob Delgado - a centre half who also played for Rotherham United, Carlisle United and Port Vale

For someone who isn't really keen on taking portraits I seem to be blipping quite a lot at the moment
