Methodical

Our squirrel is still a daily visitor and provides me with entertainment. After spending his initial visits on the ground below the feeders, he now has a routine whereby he climbs to the top of the main feeder and systematically explores each arm. One has an ordinary peanut feeder which he can manage to nibble at. A second has nyger seeds which are of no interest. The other two are protected feeders and although he hasn't figured out how to overcome the obstacle, he checks them out each time to see if there is any change, or if a new strategy occurs to him to access those oh-so-tempting fat balls and sunflower seeds.
