Airbnb guests Domnique and Beatrice

Sad to say goodbye to these two lovely ladies this morning. They've shared our house for 9 nights and have been lovely guests: Dominque and her 12 year yr old daughter from Quebec. We were a bit nervous as 9 nights is the longest stay yet, but we shared spaces respectfully and it worked out very well. We decided not to set up our breakfast buffet every day for this length of time and instead did it the first morning to show what we like to offer and then made sure that 'their' shelf in the fridge was full of breakfast goodies like boiled eggs, ham and cheese, yoghurts, and left little treats for them every day, eg, gazpacho, horchata, ice cream, pastries, bacon sandwiches at the weekend. It worked well and gave us all a bit more freedom. These guests enrich our lives and help us to be aware and more open to differences and I hope we do the same to theirs.
