Yacht Race Impression

With the first yachts away at 5.30 AM, well over 1000 racing yachts of all shapes and sizes contested the Round the Island Race, sailings equivalent to the London Marathon.
I followed the fleet as it progressed the 50 mile course experimenting with  ICM and double exposures for some impressionistic images.
A more conventional view is in the extras showing spectators with a marvellous vantage point from which to view the racing as it passed by Bembridge lifeboat station.
