Expat writing

Gretchen is someone whom I've got to know over the last few months at the pool. She's American and has been in Cairo for a long time. I was delighted to discover she's a writer, and this is one of her books. Written by an expat, about expats, I'll save it for my new 'home' country.

It's a friendship I'll miss, but everyone tells me I'll be back.
