Watermelon Time

Mama raccoon continues to visit, with and without her babies. She is thin and full of longing, appealing to me for some small sustenance. Melon Rinds and wilted vegetables thrown out are gratefully partaken of, but on this day, Mama got lucky. She was without the large and hungry babies, and discovering that this water melon was past human consumption. I tossed it off the deck, and grabbed my camera. Such a happy feast! Look at that smile!
