A DAY IN THE PARK....

... being school holidays we planned a day out with daughter/son and Alice and Hayley. Well the weather did the right thing and was a superb winters day. 

When we arrived at the chosen spot (Featherdale Wildlife Park) it seemed all of Sydney were there. The car parks were full and there were people and kids everywhere.

Maybe a rethink!!

So we headed off to a brand new play park in Bungarribee park Blacktown. What a super setup, and the numbers were far more sensible so a top day was had by all. Alice loved the monster flying fox, and Hayley enjoyed watching all the kids having fun on the swings,climbs etc etc....

Spotted this wonderful Collie dog and started a conversation with its owner (as you do). Turns out it is a rescue dog and they have had it 3 months. Funny part in a way as you can see the owner has a brace on his foot! 

The dog arrived settled in, and he then broke his foot, so the planned walking put on hold.

Recall my Dad had one of these, they are a super dog, so is my Blip today.
