The Lost Gardens of Heligan & Mevagissey

It was another hot day (27C) when we visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan arriving at just after 11am, just beating the rush. We spent most of the day there as it's a huge place with wooded areas, lawns, greenhouses and a cute Italian garden. I've added extras of Heligan taken on my phone showing the sleeping Mud Maiden and TheAphid underneath a huge Gunnera plant.

As it was still really hot after tea we went out for a drive getting out for a stroll at Mevagissey harbour. It was gearing up for a festival at the weekend so there were people all about the tiny streets setting up bunting, making driving quite precarious.
