Strawberry Thief

So the mystery of the missing alpine strawberries has been solved.

I watched this young blackbird this morning sitting in the border enjoying the sunshine. He seemed so content and I thought I would try and get a blip of him however, when I went outside he decided to jump out of the way. I think he reckoned that I couldn't see him behind the strawberries and as I approached I could see that he was stealing the alpine strawberries. 

In the afternoon we went to Hubby's dad for a bit more gardening. Hubby dug, I weeded and Daughter started the clean up of the greenhouse.
