Newcastle under Lyme

Taking 5 minutes breather after cycling up the hill from Stoke Station before I signed in at the borough council for my meeting. Newcastle always goes all out for Britain in Bloom and looking at this I hope they win.

This is not, however, the picture that tells today's story, you'll have to imagine that. I visited friends today after my meeting as they and their baby are currently in the Royal Stoke University Hospital Children's Intensive Care Unit. My thoughts this evening are with them all.
