Normal Service Has Not Been Resumed

Van has been funny since work done on it in summer. This morning the knocking and grinding took a distinct turn for the worse so dropped in my friendly neighbourhood garage who declared it unsafe to drive. No horse again! And I'd asked everyone to cross their fingers to make sure I'd get there this morning though I was thinking eldest son and taxis rather than the failure of The Mothership!
