Hever

This is the lake dug out at Hever Castle when one of the Astors (Jacob?) lived there. It was done partly to give employment in depressed times after WWI. I go most years for the Region Two Quilt Show. It's only in the last 3 or 4 years that it's been possible to walk all round the lake, a highlight of the day. Hever was the home of Anne Boleyn.
