Lympstone
Its been another gloriously warm sunny day which started with watering the allotment. Then a visit to a friends house to examine a dress I am altering for my daughter. A plan of action is now in place. Then it was off to Lympstone where I was meeting up with the local Camera Club for a wander through the village and then a pub meal.
It was still very warm and the tide on the River Exe was relatively high so many groups of people were out enjoying the waters edge. The extra show the clock tower ( Peter's Tower) which is an Italianate riverfront brick clock tower built around 1885 by W.H. Peters as a memorial to his wife, as well as the tradition of residents drying washing on the beach.
