Taken from the entrance to last Sunday’s poppy field.  The poppies are past their best now and next year this field will be covered with houses just as so much local agricultural land is now being swallowed up for development. 
It didn’t rain today and felt quite warm as the temperature went up to 16.3C with very little wind and tomorrow it is forecast to get a little higher after the rain passes through. Summer is back!
