Quilva Taing

What a great name for a fabulous place. We left Burra and visited Stanydale Temple, a Neolithic site near Gruting before going to Sandness. We parked at Huxter and cycled down to The Crook at Norby and then walked along the coast to Quilva Taing where the blip was taken. The extra is today’s bird in flight, a Curlew near Noerby. We stayed the night near Voe with another good view and watched the young Plovers and their worried parent.
