polar lights in summer ? why not??

It close to midnight and I wanted to photograph another sun"set" - let me say sun touches the horizon.... and when i did this photo I saw something green "dancing" on the  sky .... I have no idea if this is kind of polar light but what else should it be instaed? I didnt edit this pic so its "sooc".....
Maybe someone can tell me if we can "see" polar lights on a "bright" midnight sky.....
