Chez Kiwi

I mentioned two days ago that I had seen a Kiwi in the garden. They roam a huge distance so the last thing I expected was to find ( or more accurately, Ollie found ) a nest. He was interested in a Pampas grass located in an island in the middle of the drive. After dragging him away I carefully parted the grass and saw two large white eggs ( one looking blueish can be seen just below the centre of the pic ). I didn't explore any further as I assumed a kiwi was in there but we will be on Kiwi watch tonight !
