Short back and sides.

Yesterday I had my hair cut. Just a general trim and tidy up.
However today it was the turn of this golden privet and what began as a trim, turned into something more drastic as I realised how much it had grown since it was cut down three years ago.
It brightens up a very dull corner of the garden, which gets no sun at all, but does tend to take over if it is not kept in check.
(Mr C has the job of clearing it up and taking the cuttings to the tip!)

An early blip today as I am off to meet friends in Leeds for a " girls" night out.
A meal at Gino's followed by a visit to the Grand to see Mama mia.
The weather has turned out warm and sunny for once, but the forecast is for thunderstorms. Better go prepared!
