Cold and Wet

I awoke on Monday morning to find it was cold and wet. Heavy cloud over the hills. There are quite a few ducks living around the service area complex. They seemed to have deserted the hotel, but I found them over at the nearby service area. They obviously recognise this as being a more profitable area to hang out during the day. Not a great place for a rest, but a good place to show off to the visitors and hope for some sort of reward.

Although I had several pictures of ducks I opted for this view of Cumbria and the Lake District taken from near the hotel.

The drive from Cumbria to Aberdeen was fairly uneventful. A mix of dry periods and rain. A lot of spray. Stopped off for a snack at the Glendoick Garden Centre.
