Inspirational

Stunning stunning exhibition I saw today. I was told to hang around to wait for the artist to return from a trip into town but I came over a bit bashful and snuck off.

The afternoon sun dramatised the expressive brush strokes.

The artist Paolo del Giudice had a real impressionist-esque knack for capturing the formative, lineal and tonal essence of a building/face/object, but without the (in my opinion) sentimental and 'wall-flower' type subjects of the Impressionists.
