GOUDA KAAS thanks its name to the fact that this Dutch cheese has been traded for centuries in the city of Gouda. The famous GOUDA CHEES is still crafted in the polders around the city. There are the cows that give their milk daily for the cheese. From the polder the farmers bring the cheeses to the inner city of Gouda, where they are traded on the cheese market.

The trade in cheeses goes hand in hand between the seller and the buyer. The price will be asked and it will be clasped. Just as long as there is an agreement about the price.
