Ward's Garage

We took a bike ride today that had as it's literal high point, Ward's Garage. This is no ordinary garage it is a landmark, people use it for directions, "turn left when you get to Ward's Garage." it's the only place for miles around to get a coke and after climbing up to it a coke is usually just what you need. The Ward's (this woman might be one) are known for being a bit scrappy. There are reports of neighborhood feuds and a story of one of the Wards using bullets to exert his influence. I had my own experience which involved a flat tire a locked car and an angry Ward in a tow truck.
