Curves

I am always attracted by architectural features, especially curves like these.  This is the staircase from the ground floor level (the "Tanks") in the new extension to the Tate Modern in London.  It makes a great abstract pattern.

After visiting the 10th floor to enjoy the 360 degree view of London, we walked a short way along the river bank to the Swan Restaurant (part of the Globe Theatre) to enjoy afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco.  The second floor location, with windows thrown open to allow air to pass through in today's  high temperatures, provides a lovely view across the river towards St Paul's Cathedral.
