River Wyre

The house was very quiet last night but I heard from both families that Cara and Bruce had settled in well to their holiday homes, so I feel very relaxed. My journey down to my sister's home was most enjoyable as I love driving through the wonderful scenery in the Scottish Borders and then the Lakes. The clouds were particularly spectacular and often bubbled up into fascinating shapes that I would have loved to blip, but obviously couldn't as I was driving.

My niece and I took a walk along the River Wyre where a number of yachts are permanently moored. This shot shows a typical jetty and I loved the light in the sky and water tonight.
