Garden watering hole

In our garden we have a rather expensive stone bird bath which I clean out and top up with water to keep my little feathered friends happy. Sadly they do not use it very often.

At some point a seed tray (without any holes in) got left on a bench on the deck. It soon filled up with water; after all we had a bit of rain. The birds decided that this was a much more suitable watering hole and they all like to go in for a drink and a dip.

I guess the plastic seed tray is going to have to stay!
