Caged Animal
It's ok, no Little D's were harmed in the making of this shot. Yes, he was a little cranky but they're not always sweetness and light and they don't always smile for the camera! To be fair to him, this was just a blip and he actually just wanted to grab the camera. Other than that he was fine.
We spent the morning at playgroup and the afternoon at Aunty Deborah's. It was a nice day so we took a walk to the local swing park, which is actually more of a trim-track kind of place, with lots of exercise equipment. The kids didn't mind this at all and I was more than happy to take them on the flying fox and the two-man swing. Then the heavens opened and we had to take shelter in a little metal cage/hut, sharing with a bunch of teenage lads who'd been playing football. I asked one if he'd share his twix with us as the rain was pelting down and we could be stuck in the hut for a very long time - you've never seen someone stuff two bars of chocolate in their mouth so quickly! Anyway, we all had to make a run for it eventually as the rain showed no sign of stopping. We got back to Deborah's just as the rain subsided, of course.
Note to self: We live in Scotland, carry waterproofs.
