Goodwood Revival - Richmond and Gordon Trophies

This is the second start. The first start was quote eventful when Gary Pearson in the BRM stalled on the grid. The driver waving and with yellow flags waving everyone managed to miss him. While watching this drama unfold we missed three cars coming together on the left and two on the right as a result of the chaos caused by people trying to avoid the stalled car. All the impacts were fairly low speed the cars not too badly damaged and we saw all the drivers get out their cars OK.

The second start was less eventful with everyone getting away. (including one of the cars patched up with green gaffer tape).

I never thought I'd get to see cars like the Masarati 250F , BRMs and Connaughts start on a Grand Prix like grid from so close up. It is one of my favourite times at Goodwood (but preferably without incidents like todays).
