2017 Sunday -- Driving South into Cayucos

We took a drive this afternoon to Cambria to first stop at the Bridge Street Cafe to buy a couple of their delicious carrot cake cupcakes.

Then we headed to Shamel Park, which is next to the Moonstone Beach shoreline. It's a great place to walk the pups because they love the shoreline and the park has clean restrooms. Today the park was jam-packed with people picnicking and the swimming pool was open.

After we walked the beach, we got back to the car and drove further north to the beach at San Simeon and the crowd there was large.

Then driving back into Cayucos, I captured these two photos. We've never seen RVs on the top of the hill. A rancher must have opened his land to friends. Their view of the ocean must have be superb and they are in a great location for Tuesday's July 4th fireworks display.
