There hasn't been a coloured person in the town since the Drifters played the town hall in 1986.

I jest of course.

They never played the town hall. *

* It was the Masonics. The pies at half time caused terrible diarrhoea but it brought a certain poignancy to their finale "There Goes My Baby"
