Murdoch meets Aunty Dor!

My sister, Theodora, arrived this morning from South Africa. She was due to land at 5.30am but due to a passenger having a heart attack on the plane last night they were diverted to Barcelona so that the passenger could receive medical attention, and they only landed at 7.30am. She was very tired from her overnight flight but delighted to be here.

The erected the marquee today for Luke's party tomorrow and it looks lovely - not too big, just the right size so it feels personal. Tomorrow I need to decorate the tables, and then we are ready. He is very excited about his party and is pleased it is all coming together as planned. We have had one last minute cancellation so far...grrrr...very annoying as I had to rework all the table places again.

A casual BBQ tonight with my sister and a friend of Luke's who has arrived from Scotland ahead of the party. Adam gets home tonight very late, after finishing work at 11pm (after being on bed time duty of the students on the summer program)

As much as I wish we would have some rain as it is bone dry here and the garden is dying, I am very grateful that it is not raining tomorrow for the party!
