A present from Tasmania

This hydrangea wasn't brought from Tasmania of course but my sister in law, Fiffi (real name Yvonne), gave it to Marlane in a pot when she visited May 2016 for the Zegveld re-union. Zegveld being their maiden names.
Fiffi is the one sitting on the floor in the red and black dress - 

We put it into the ground after it was outside all summer and it has done very well over the winter. Lovely colours, and I was very pleased to see the camera reproduced the colours very well.
