Spiral stairs

Decided we might venture out the beaten track and see if we could see the Pictish Stones at St Vigeans, looks like they are securely contained against impromptu visitors with a whim on a Friday afternoon

So the lovely Churchyard tempted us instead, as we approached the gates another lady was walking along the path, luckily for us she was away to open up the church and we got inside for a look.... lots of pictures on Instagram
I do like a nice large religious building, in spite of my mother's protestations about my being a heathen!
