To the lighthouse ...

We spent today in what was for us a new part of Cowal - I've only been to what used to be called the Inver Cottage restaurant twice, a long time ago, and today we had lunch in its latest incarnation, the Inver, and explored the old Castle Lachlan and took photos of food and of Loch Fyne. However, I've posted the food pics elsewhere, and the light was difficult over the loch. So I've left those for now ...

...and come back to a much more familiar spot. It was the need to go for a walk after eating and drinking at lunchtime, and it was the fact that the sun was shining with a warm evening glow when we got home, so we changed our shoes, drove to Innellan, and walked down the road beside the distant sea (the tide was well out).  So this is the view from Sandy Beach, looking out towards the light that we could almost have walked to.
