Photography
I've been on a photography course today. I really enjoyed it and it was great experience. I'm glad I've seen how some of the practical stuff works including the set ups and getting models to pose. I was suprised how hard it is to get a model to recreate the pose youre seeing in your mind. Also, usually I only take natural photos and mostly outside, so it shocked me that in a studio you can't move around as much without having to move lighting too. Or making sure you down put things in the shot, kit etc that shouldnt be there.
The last hour was photoshop elements editing. As hard as the guy tried, sitting back and watching him go through an edit, didn't really allow anything to sink in. I tried to recall it all when I got in but no luck, so I'll be back searching on youtube pretty soon ;-)
All in all it was a good day but its made me think a lot about the sort of work I'd like to do and how important it is when you're looking for a trainer, to find one who shares your vision to an extent. Waffling now sorry.
