Jane and I ....

We have known each other for over 40 years, been thro some very high and very low times in each others lives....and so it is always such a lovely time when we get together for dinner.   I loved that we both, independently, decided to get into our nice frocks for the evening!   Being self employed crafts people we both live and work at home and therefore very rarely have an occasion to get dressed up....so i've decided now that i have these 2 lovely dresses (bought for the daughter's wedding) that i shall get my money's worth!   this is the other dress i almost wore.....it's not the actual outfit....see the extra for a shot of the Mother of the Bride outfit i did wear!

It was also a sort of business meeting of sorts...a couple of years ago we had a joint show at Jane's studio, and so we have decided to go ahead and do it again this year!   Exciting!!!
