Stag

Up at the lighthouse just by the Stag Rock end of Bamburgh beach there are great views over to Lindisfarne and over to the Farne Islands. And it's a good place to have a breather from all the beach action too. Cracking day with sun shining, blue skies, t-shirt and shorts weather, everyone on good form. Sandcastle building, kite flying, crab catching, sea paddling. Plenty of fresh air, plenty of weary grown-ups. In a good way. A very good way.
