Thistle and friend

I took a lot of photos today. Hallie and I went for a walk this morning to a field of wildflowers which were being visited by quite a few insect. Later , in the evening, after the rain had come and gone we went to the pond. Got a few nice bird captures and a few weeds with droplets. They are all over on Flickr ifyou want a peek. I went with this one because I like this little fellow and I barely manaoto catch him. He landed and was gone a second later. Really wish I could have gotten him in focus but this will have to do.
