Much better day today. Although yesterday I was excited to be embarking on my quest for new knowledge, the Sociology (my major) lectures are so condensed it's a bit of a whirlwind. I felt like lying in a darkened room afterwards to digest it all.

Owing to administrative things (money) there are only two of these 50 minute lectures per week. It is such a vast subject and the information comes so rapidly it's difficult to keep up with taking notes. For instance today we have covered the history of racism in 50 minutes. There's going to be a lot of extra reading this year.
