Great Blasket Island
The Island has been shrouded in mist for a few days but on our final morning we could see the hills behind the village and took an early morning hike. From the highest point on the island at just under a thousand feet one has a spectacular view out to the other islands and back to the coast of the Dingle peninsula. To the right is Slea Head and to the left Sybil Head and the three sisters. On returning to the hostel the mist rolled in once again so it was a brief window to explore the island.
