Stung!

OMG a day of drama. Wish I'd just stuck to admiring this floral handiwork of local schoolchildren. Back home, I accidentally disturbed a wasp's nest. Stung more than 20 times on my head, face, arms, ankles and legs, I tried the traditional treatment of applying vinegar, to zero effect.
So I had to make a quick trip to the chemist - driven by my daughter - for antihistamine and after-bite treatment. Plus a wasp nest destroyer from the hardware shop. Ouch! The little devils really know how to hurt. Still sore, hours later ...
