Big skies

I was out with the local walking group on Stage 3 of the East Devon Way. We walked almost 11 miles on this very warm humid day.  The weather forecast had predicted a cloudy day so I was glad I put sunscreen on anyway, but hadn't brought sunglasses or hat.  Around midday the sun started to appear and we had some delightful clouds when we stopped for lunch on a hill looking down towards Sidbury.

Several hills later we climbed around Fire Beacon Hill where there were spectacular views over the Exe estuary to the distant hills on the horizon. A great but tiring day out.
