Beanstalk

I spent a few hours in Wigan town centre as it was the rotary community day. I was at the Beanstalk stand giving out leaflets and talking to passers by. We did have some interest and hopefully some new volunteers. It was lovely chatting to another volunteer, Jean in the photo, as although there are get togethers there isn't a lot of time for chit chat. I love her pose in this photo thought it was good for silly Saturday. 
If  anyone reading this has 2 spare lots of 1 and a half hours in a week to go into a school and be a reading helper,  Beanstalk is an excellent charity to work for. They give you full training, support and resources. the beanstalk website
