"Are We Going Home Now?"

Ripley popped her head out of her cat carrier in our car this morning after a visit to the vet was concluded.

Not good news unfortunately.
The vet estimates that at the current rate of decline due to her kidney issues, she should have a decent enough quality of life through the summer. 
But, he suspects that by Oct. we will likely be faced with making ' the decision'.

Just a little over two years ago of going through this with our tux kitty Jack, I know this is going to be rough and I dread it terribly.
